Rules
Summary of the official Fantasy Premier League rules that this planner enforces.
Squad
- 15 players: 2 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 5 midfielders, 3 forwards.
- Total squad value must not exceed £100.0m.
- Maximum 3 players from any single Premier League club.
- Starting XI in any formation with 1 goalkeeper, at least 3 defenders and at least 1 forward.
- Pick a captain (points doubled) and a vice-captain, who takes over if the captain plays no minutes.
- Bench order sets automatic substitution priority; the bench goalkeeper only replaces the starting goalkeeper.
Transfers
- Unlimited free transfers until the first deadline.
- 1 free transfer per gameweek; unused transfers roll over up to a maximum of 5.
- Each extra transfer costs 4 points.
- Limit of 20 transfers in a gameweek, unless you play a Wildcard or Free Hit.
- Selling price: you keep half of any price rise since purchase, rounded down to £0.1m.
Chips
- Wildcard: all transfers in the gameweek are free and permanent.
- Free Hit: unlimited free transfers for one gameweek — the squad reverts at the next deadline, and it cannot be played in consecutive gameweeks.
- Bench Boost: your bench scores too.
- Triple Captain: captain scores triple instead of double.
- Two of each chip per season: one usable up to the GW19 deadline, one from GW20 onward. Only one chip per gameweek, and unused chips do not carry over.
- Saved free transfers are retained when you play a Wildcard or Free Hit.
